The NSW Minister for Climate Change and Water, Phil Koperberg, has issued a challenge to the Federal Minister for Environment and Water Resources, Malcolm Turnbull.
'But Mr. Koperberg said Federal Environment and Water Minister Malcolm Turnbull should tell residents what he intended to do.
"The people of Northern NSW deserve to know whether there is still a secret plan sitting in the bottom draw that Mr. Turnbull will pull out if the Coalition Government is re-elected later this year," he said.
He said analysis of the Snowy Mountains Engineering Corporation report by NSW water experts found that damming the Clarence would recreate mistakes made in the Murray-Darling..................................
"The whole concept has been very poorly researched and is no more than a thought bubble by Mr. Turnbull," Mr. Koperberg said.'
